The anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties of our hot-dip galvanized square tubes are a result of a meticulous manufacturing process. Through the hot-dip galvanization technique, the steel tubes are fully immersed in a molten zinc bath at temperatures exceeding 450°C. This high-temperature immersion creates a metallurgical bond between the zinc and the steel, forming a protective layer that is both thick and tenacious. The zinc coating, typically ranging from 85 to 100 micrometers in thickness, acts as a shield against the corrosive effects of moisture, chemicals, and atmospheric pollutants. What makes hot-dip galvanization particularly effective is its self-healing mechanism. In the event of minor scratches or abrasions, the zinc layer sacrifices itself to protect the underlying steel, gradually corroding while preventing rust from spreading to the base material. This makes our square tubes an ideal choice for marine applications, such as dock railings and offshore platform structures, where constant exposure to saltwater and harsh weather conditions would quickly deteriorate other materials.
