What Is The Difference Between En39 S235gt And Q235 ?
EN39 S235GT and Q235 are both steel grades used for construction purposes. EN39 S235GT is a European standard steel grade that refers to the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the steel. It contains Max. 0.2% carbon, 1.40% manganese, 0.040% phosphorus, 0.045% sulfur, and less than 0.020% Al. The ultimate tensile strength of EN39 S235GT is 340-520 MPa. Q235, on the other hand, is a Chinese standard steel grade. It is equivalent to EN standard S235JR steel grade which is commonly used in Europe. Q235 steel has a carbon content of 0.14%-0.22%, a manganese content of less than 1.4%, a phosphorus content of 0.035%, a sulfur content of 0.04%, and a silicon content of 0.12%. The ultimate tensile strength of Q235 is 370-500 MPa. In summary, EN39 S235GT and Q235 have similar chemical compositions but slightly different mechanical properties. The choice between the two depends on the specific application and requirements of the project.
Steel Gauge Conversion Chart
These dimensions may vary slightly depending on the specific material being used, such as stainless steel or aluminum. Here is the table that shows the actual thickness of sheet steel in millimetres and inches compared to gauge size:
Storing Galvanized Steel Products Properly During The Rainy Season Is Important To Prevent Any Damage Or Corrosion.
In the summer, there is a lot of rain, and after the rain, the weather is hot and humid. In this state, the surface of galvanized steel products is easy to be alkalization (commonly known as white rust), and the interior (especially 1/2inch to 1-1/4inch galvanized pipes) is prone to produce black spots due to covering the packaging and lack of ventilation.
Performance Inspection Methods For 304/304l Stainless Steel Seamless Pipes
304/304L stainless seamless steel pipe is one of the very important raw materials in the manufacture of stainless steel pipe fittings. 304/304L stainless steel is a common chromium-nickel alloy stainless steel with good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, which is very suitable for the manufacture of pipe fittings.
